PURPOSE: A system for generating a real animation character in a wireless communication device and a method therefor are provided to transmit a personal photo obtained from the wireless communication device, automatically generate a face character similar with the personal photo in real time using a character face generation method, correct the face character, and transmit the correct face character with a voice to an other person, store the face character in a background window, or add the face character to personal information to use the face character as a termination character. CONSTITUTION: A mobile communication terminal(100) connects to a wireless Internet, embeds a camera(110), and has an image data storing unit. A wireless Internet service network(200) provides a wireless Internet service to the mobile communication terminal(100). A service server(300) replaces a face image obtained through the camera(110) with a similar character to generate a face character image, and maps an other character with the generated face character image to generate a character image. The service server(300) has a user information DB(310) for storing user information, a user confirming unit(320) for extracting user information from a user terminal connected to the wireless Internet service network(200), and an image storing unit(330) for receiving an image photographed by the camera(110) and storing the received image. The service server(300) includes a character image generating unit(340) for extracting a feature from the image, replacing the extracted feature with a character, and generating a character image, and a character image storing unit(350) for storing the generated character image. The service server(300) has a character image transmitting unit(360) for transmitting the character image to the mobile communication terminal(100), a menu service providing unit(370) for providing a service menu to the mobile communication terminal(100), and a server operating unit(380) for operating and managing each composition unit. |
