PURPOSE: A structure for defrosting of base of outdoor unit of air conditioner is provided to defrost without a hot wire used to prevent frosting on the base. CONSTITUTION: A defrosting pipe(41) is placed on a base(33) by extending a connecting tube(13) so that liquefied refrigerant flowing between an indoor heat exchanger of an indoor unit(11) and a capillary(24) of an outdoor unit passes the base before flowing into the capillary to remove frost formed on the base as temperature of the liquefied refrigerant flowing into the capillary is 20-30 deg.C which is enough to melt ice formed on the base. The structure defrosts without additional power consumption, electric leakage and damage of components. |
