PURPOSE: A method for perforating several holes on surface of a nail file made of hard steel plate and stainless steel material and an apparatus for the same are provided to notably reduce production cost and to minimize failure rate of product caused by residual etching reagent, and to limit damage of punch-pin by making the punching process to be smoothly carried. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises forming holes by means of punch-pin(11) raising/falling by a press(10) to a steel sheet made of a thin stainless steel plate; punching in order from central portion of a section to be punched in a form of nail file toward outer portion; and punching and cutting both sides of the nail file and a handle part by means of notching skill to lead peripheral side of the punched portion into the desired shape. The apparatus comprises punch-pin(11), a securing plate(13) with a hole(13'), a cylindrical quill(12) around outer side of the pin(11), a plurality of ascending guide blocks(14) and notching blocks(15-1, 15-2), a punching block(16) and punching and notching holes(16').
