<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stiffly stick silica gel having an excellent hygroscopic property together with an organic polymeric electrolyte to a honeycomb or sheet by a very simple method. SOLUTION: In a hygroscopic body AS capable of exchanging moisture, e.g. adsorption sheet for dehumidification, adsorption element for dehumidification or total heat exchange element, a silica sol containing as a solid constituent not more than 30% of silica fine particles having particle sizes of 120Åor less and containing on a surface a large number of stabilized silanol groups and 0.01-1% of alkali metal ions Na2O is coated on or impregnated into a sheet of a honeycomb laminate having a large number of small through holes and then the silica gel is dried and stuck, and an organic polymeric electrolyte adsorbent is included in the silica sol.</p> |
