<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To encode a moving image with high quality. SOLUTION: An encoding object image 1 is inputted to a motion detection part 3 together with a polygonal pattern 2 and a motion vector 181 is found. The motion vector 181 is inputted to a camera parameter detection part 24 and a camera parameter 25 is detected. The camera parameter 25 is inputted to an input image resolution selection part 26 and input image resolution 27 showing the resolution of the input image is outputted. The encoding object image 1 is converted to a resolution converted encoding object image 29 of resolution shown by the input image resolution 27 by a resolution conversion part 28. The encoding object image 29 is inputted to the motion detection part 3 and a motion vector 182 is outputted. A local decoded image 6 is converted to the resolution shown by an input image resolution 27. A motion compensated predictive image 7 is generated from a resolution converted local decoded image 31 and the motion vector 182 .</p> |
