PURPOSE: A method for automatically setting a time of a car is provided to secure the convenience of a user by sharing current time information of a portable phone with a clock control unit and outputting a current standard time in a clock composed in the internal portion of the car. CONSTITUTION: A periodical communication is performed between a clock composed in the internal portion of a car and a portable phone located in the internal portion of the car at a predetermined time(S21). It is judged whether the portable phone exists in the internal portion of the car(S22). If the portable phone exists in the internal portion of the car, information about a standard time received from a base station is provided to a clock control unit of the clock using a local area wireless communication between a Bluetooth chip of the portable phone and a Bluetooth chip of the clock(S23). The clock control unit of the clock outputs information about the standard time to the outside through a time display unit(S24).
