PURPOSE: A network connection device for supporting a priority process service and a method therefor are provided to judge whether a service used by a user is a service necessary for priority process, offer a priority to the service, and secure QoS(Quality of Service). CONSTITUTION: A server address storing unit(406) stores an IP(Internet Protocol) address of a VoIP(Voice over IP) server. An IP packet checking unit(405) extracts a destination IP address from an input packet inputted from a user terminal through an internal network interface(401), and judges whether the destination IP address is identical to the IP address of the VoIP server stored in the server address storing unit(406). When the destination IP address is identical to the IP address of the VoIP server stored in the server address storing unit(406), a priority process judging unit(402) transmits the input packet to a connection priority process unit(403) for processing the input packet according to priority. |
