PURPOSE: An apparatus for rotating and vertically moving an impeller is provided which increases convenience during use and reduces cost by enabling rotational and vertical movements of the impeller using a driving motor. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus for rotating and vertically moving an impeller in a pressing, dehydrating, filtering and drying equipment is characterized in that a driving motor(12) transmits driving force to a spur gear(10), rotary power of a spur gear(10) is again transmitted to a sleeve(13) so that rotary power is transmitted to an impeller(14) by a key of the impeller(14) so as to rotate the impeller(14), a bearing housing(16), a bearing housing cover(17) and a stop disk(20) mounted on the sleeve(13) are rotated along with the sleeve(13) and the impeller(14) as the sleeve(13) and the impeller(14) are being rotated, rotation of the bearing housing(16), bearing housing cover(17) and stop disk(20) is also stopped as the stop disk(20) is being fixed by a disk break(15), the sleeve(13) is continuously rotated as it is supported by a bearing even though rotation of the bearing housing(16), bearing housing cover(17) and stop disk(20) is stopped, the apparatus rotates and vertically moves the impeller(14) as an up-down operating nut(18) is coupled to the impeller(14) in the state that rotation of the bearing housing(16), bearing housing cover(17) and stop disk(20) is stopped while the sleeve(13) and impeller(14) are continuously rotated, and the impeller(14) is ascended to a certain elevation during ascending as safety sensors(21) are adhered onto the impeller while the impeller(14) is descended to a certain elevation during descending as a down-stop nut(22) is adhered onto the upper part of the impeller.
