PURPOSE: Provided are a low price mobile data terminal for smart card, which is capable of settling a parking charge by contacting with smart card without mobile data terminal, or settling a parking charge by using low price mobile data terminal without smart card circuit. CONSTITUTION: The terminal(20) comprises an antenna unit for receiving and transmitting a carrier wave from roadside unit; a detection unit which demodulates a carrier wave received from the antenna unit and detects a digital data signal exceeding a critical value; a reading unit for reading an inserted smart car based on the data signal detected by the detection unit; and a transmission unit for exactly transmitting a data read by the reading unit to the roadside unit through the antenna unit. The terminal(20) enables driver to use any one of mobile data terminal or smart card. |
