<p>A composition is disclosed suitable for the prevention and/or treatment of disorders due to abnormal lipid metabolism, such as hypercholesterolaemia, atherosclerosis, hyperlipidaemia and obesity, and which can therefore take the form of a dietary supplement or of an actual medicine, comprising as characterising active ingredients: (a) propionyl L-carnitine or a pharmacologically acceptable salt thereof, and (b) chitosan or its derivatives and congeners.</p> |
