PURPOSE: A method for stopping a drainpipe hole is provided to prevent a permeating phenomenon of water into a damaged part of a drainpipe above or under the ground by forming an expanding water stopper in an entrance of the drainpipe hole. CONSTITUTION: A drainpipe is formed by a PVC or a PE. The drainpipe is buried under the ground or adhered to a pier. A drainpipe hole is formed at a contact part between a manhole wall body and the drainpipe. A plurality of cables are inserted into the drainpipe hole. A plurality of empty drainpipe can be formed to prepare enlargement of the drainpipe. The drainpipe hole is stopped by using an expanding water stopper(6). The expanding water stopper(6) is separated from the drainpipe hole in a cable exchange process. A plurality of cable holes(7) is formed in the expanding water stopper(6). The number of the cable holes(7) corresponds to the number of the cables.
