A highly shrinkable non-crimpable concentric sheath/core conjugated filament consists of a core of copolyamide and a sheath of homopolyamide. The homopolymer may be nylon-6, 66, 610, 7, 11, or 12, polymetaxylylene adipamide, or polyparaxylylene adipamide. Copolymerforming materials specified are monomers for the above, hexamethylene diammonium terephthalate, and hexamethylene diammonium isophthalate.
