A plate P is attached to the hub of a trailer or caravan instead of the road wheel, so that the road wheel is safely stored in suitable conditions, away from the trailer so as to render the trailer non mobile. The plate has feet F and is fastened to the wheel hub B by wheel nuts WN. A security cover C is fastened to the plate by a padlock through a hasp HA, thus preventing unauthorized access to the wheel nuts.
