PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of adjusting the space between sheets smoothly and efficiently with the speed change of a sheet transferring mechanism restricted to a minimum essential extend. SOLUTION: The space between sheets is adjusted by measuring the time interval between the sheets transferred continuously using a transfer sensor 205 and accelerating or decelerating the transfer speed of a pair of supply rollers 204 based on the detected time interval. |
