PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To expand a washing box by reducing a dead space in a casing in a drawer type dishwasher. SOLUTION: An air feeding duct 20 and a fan 23 for feeding air to the washing box 2 are arranged in a gap between the front wall 2a of the box 2 and a front surface panel 4 to be fitted attachably and detachably on its front surface. When the fan 23 is rotated and driven by a motor 24 in the case of drying operation, air is sucked from an air suction port 21 opening facing the inside of the casing 1 to open a damper 25 and the air is discharged from an air feeding port to the box 2 through the duct 20. Though this dishwasher requires to secure a space for opening and closing an upper cover 10 on a front side compared with the front wall 2a of the box 2, by arranging a blowing mechanism in the space generated by it, the blowing mechanism which is provided at the rear part before no longer exists to expand the washing box.
