PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conveying device capable of following a rail regardless of the attitude of a conveying carriage even on a conveying track having a vertical curvature inclined in a curve. SOLUTION: This tray-type conveying device 10 is provided with a conveying carriage 12 provided with a tray for conveyed articles, roller units 13 connected to the conveying carriage 12, and pipe rails 14, 14 having a circular cross section. The conveying carriage 12 receives the driving force by a linear driving mechanism. The conveying carriage 12 is supported at its both sides by the roller units 13. The conveying carriage 12 is mounted on the roller units 13 to be rotated around each of x, y, z axes at its front part. Further the conveying carriage 12 is mounted on the roller units 13 to be rotated around each of y and z axes at its rear part. Accordingly, the conveying carriage 12 is improved in the followability to the conveying track with a horizontal curvature and a vertical curvature, and can be stably traveled.
