PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing mechanism washing device for an opening and closing gate of a container capable of surely preventing the impairing of sealing function by removing the garbage attached to the sealing mechanism mounted on a join part between the opening and closing gate and a container body, and removing the garbage by injecting the washing, liquid, which does not impose a strain on a worker. SOLUTION: In the opening and closing gate of the container provided with the opening and closing gate 45 on its one side face, and the sealing mechanism 6 mounted on the join part of the opening closing gate 45 and a container body 4 side, the sealing mechanism 6 is composed of a packing material 61 mounted along the join part of the container body 4 side, and a hollow pressure contact member 62 mounted on the opening and closing gate 45 to be closely abutted on the packing material 61 in closing, the pressure contact member 62 is provided with a plurality of injection holes 63 formed on a part opposite to the packing material 61 at predetermined intervals, and further a supply source for supplying the washing is communicated to the pressure contact member 62.
