PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting blade which can cut a workpiece without cutting and edge end part in the workpiece, can cut deep into a cutting groove not passing through in a thickness direction of the workpiece and further can cut the cutting groove drawing a curved locus. SOLUTION: When a tip edge 5 of the reciprocating cutting blade 1 is pushed against a surface 21 of the workpiece 20, the tip edge 5 gouges into the surface 21 and by continuing the procedure, the cutting groove 23 is dug down in a thickness direction of the workpiece 2 with a cutting edge 3, the tip edge 5 and a side edge 6. After digging down the cutting groove 23 until the whole of an under surface of a base 16 horizontally abuts against the surface of the workpiece 20 thereafter, when a motor-driven jig saw 10 is pushed in the arrow X direction, the workpiece 20 is cut in the arrow X direction with the cutting edge 3 of the reciprocating cutting blade 1, and the cutting groove 23 of a long groove state which draws a curved locus in such the direction and does not pass through the thickness direction of the workpiece 20 is worked.
