<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat beat take-up device capable of normally operating a conventional 'lock mechanism' when an explosive pretensioner is operated. SOLUTION: In (a), the collsion is generated during the taking-up, and the explosive pretensioner is operated. The rotation of a motor is stopped simultaneously with the occurrence of collision, a solenoid is unexcited simultaneously with the operation of the explosive pretensioner, and the motor is rotated in the seat belt drawing-out direction. Therefore a spool becomes rotatable in the drawing-out direction, a power transmission passage between the motor and the spool is cut, and the motor does not apply the load to the rotation of the spool. The spool does not receive the load of the motor, and becomes rotatable in the seat belt drawing-out direction with the operation of the explosive pretensioner. Then the conventional 'lock mechanism' is operated.</p> |
