PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stamping mat, with which the clear and exact print of a seal can be obtained. SOLUTION: Silk fibers 1 obtained from uncultivated silkworms are employed in the stamping mat having a structure laminating and pasted together the silk fibers 1 obtained from uncultivated silkworms, cardboards 2 and 3 and a rear side stock 4 in the order named. A thin bonding core may be employed to the silk fibers obtained from uncultivated silkworms to use for reinforcement. As one of the features of this mat, there is no limitation as the counter stock such as Japanese paper, silk cloth, cotton, wool fabrics, leather, synthetic leather, lacquer wire stock or the like of the rear side stock.
