PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning tool for change water, capable of facilitating the operation, and capable of simply achieving the separation and removal of algae and mosses attached to gravel, and the separation and removal of excrement mixed with the gravel without taking out the gravel from an aquarium. SOLUTION: This cleaning tool has a sucking port opened at the lower end, a sucking tube joined to the upper end of the sucking port, and a sucking means installed in the sucking tube. The sucking port has plural water-sucking openings formed at the periphery wall, and is constituted so that at least one of whirlpool, convection current and complex current may be caused in the interior by the sucking power by the sucking means. The sucking port is formed into an inverted cup shape as the structure for causing the whirlpool in the interior of the sucking port, and the water-sucking openings are opened so as to face to the nearly normal line directions of the inner peripheral wall of the sucking port. The sucking port has the second water-sucking opening opened at the upper part, and a frap formed so as to extend from the upper end of the second water-sucking opening to the inside as the structure for causing the convection current in the interior of the sucking port.
