PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an openable-type toilet for a pet easy to clean the hood. SOLUTION: This toilet for a pet is so designed that a space is defined by an excretion tray and a covering hood above the tray and an entrance through which the pet can enter the space is provided; wherein a stationary hood (2) is provided above nearly a half of the excretion tray (5) and an openable hood (1) made turnable about a two-point shaft (3) is provided above the balance of the tray (5), and it is characteristic that on turning the openable hood (1), it is put inside the stationary hood (2).
