PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine all sequence of a base of a genome of an extremely thermophilic bacterium Thermus thermophillus HB8 strain. SOLUTION: This gene provides a method producing a protein having a specific amino acid sequence originating from the bacterium, a gene having a base sequence encoding the protein, a vector including the same, a transformant, a protein obtained by culturing the transformant and collecting an expressed protein of the objective gene from culture product, for example, LexA protein known as a repressor protein, or a ferrochelatase which is an enzyme synthesizing protoheme from protoporphyrin IX or the like. |
