PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a floor material wherein a processing method for a decorative veneer onto a substrate is changed to improve workability and beauty and endocrine disrupting chemicals and a sick house syndrome are free from care. SOLUTION: A surface-reinforced decorative material is provided wherein a surface of the decorative veneer 1 comprising softwood veneer stuck onto the substrate is brushed with a brush of a hard nylon, steel wire or the like to grind an early wood part 2a and after forming an irregularity 3 on the surface, the process is completed via a coating process wherein a coloring agent 4 is applied, sanding is carried out and a finish is coated.
