PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process advantageous in industrially producing an RF amide peptide on a mass scale. SOLUTION: This process for producing the RF amide peptide is characterized in that a fused protein or peptide, wherein the RF amide peptide is linked to the N-end of a protein or a peptide having cysteine at the N-end, is subjected to a reaction of cleaving the peptide bond in the amino acid side of the cysteine residue.
