PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recording sheet in which an image of a high quality level can be printed in an ink jet recording system such as an ink jet printer, a plotter or the like and which has a high strength of a coating film and excellent water resistance of the film. SOLUTION: The ink jet recording sheet comprises a support made of a resin film, an undercoating layer and an ink acceptive layer provided on the support. In this sheet, the undercoating layer contains a water insoluble resin, and the ink acceptive layer contains a synthetic amorphous silica, a water soluble resin and a nonionic water insoluble resin as binding agents. |
