<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for improving characteristics of a composite material, capable of treating it so as to change the characteristics. SOLUTION: The method for improving the characteristics of the composite material comprises the steps of treating to deteriorate the matrix resin of the composite material obtained by complexing the matrix resin with a reinforcing material to generate a crack, and executing a predetermined treatment in a state in which the crack is generated. Thus, the composite material can be suitably treated. The method further comprises the step of treating to fill a filler in the crack of the composite material in which the crack is formed. Thus, the composite material can be suitably treated to improve the characteristics. The deteriorating treatment can be realized by an ozone exposing treatment, an ozone and ultraviolet exposing treatment, a heat cycle treatment or a quenching treatment.</p> |
