PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging material which avoids or at least reduces some of problems in conventionally proposed packaging materials. SOLUTION: Ink print 36 is applied on an outer surface of a base material comprising a single layer 34 made of a white stretched polypropylene material. An electron beam curable(EB) coating 38 is applied to coat the ink print 36. The EB coating 38 immediately cures when applied to serve as a protective layer to prevent the ink from oozing or being worn during handling and in addition it serves as a release layer for a coating of a cold seal material.
