PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a press die, capable of stably forming a brake groove having a predetermined depth on a green sheet. SOLUTION: The press die 1 comprises an upper die 10 and a lower die 30. The dies 10 and 30 respectively have an upper punch 11 and a lower punch 31 for sandwiching a green sheet G from both sides at the time of pressing. An upper blade 12 for forming the brake groove is provided at the punch 11. Further, the die 1 comprises an upper stopper member 21 provided at the punch 11, and a lower stopper member 22 provided at the die 30. At the time of pressing the sheet, the upper stopper member is contacted with the lower stopper member so that approaching of both the punches nearer to a predetermined distance is mechanically inhibited. Thus, the entering depth of the plate 12 to the sheet G is decided.
