PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pushcart type step cancelling machine which makes a wheelchair have a small turning circle and be able to ascend/descend and move even in a small area. SOLUTION: This is a pushcart type step cancelling machine A for supporting a wheelchair B to negotiate a step and comprises a pushcart with a mount part 3 rotatable in the horizontal plane and movable in both directions and an operation handle 1. An extensible elevator 4 is mounted on the mount part 3 of the pushcart. The mount part 3 of the pushcart has width and height so as to be put in/out between main wheels B2 of the wheelchair B in a condition the elevator 4 is contracted and is enabled to push up the frame B1 of the wheelchair B to ascend a wheel level of the wheelchair B over the height of a step in a condition the elevator 4 is extended. A slide table 5 to support the frame B1 of the wheelchair can be attached to the upper face of the elevator 4 via a slide rail 6.
