PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a daily tooth and denture polishing and cleaning material designed to remove the dental plaque and dental calculi sticking to the teeth and dentures and to prevent the sticking by utilizing the characteristic properties of wild silk fibers. SOLUTION: The silk fibers spun from the cocoons of wild silk are the fibers having the characteristic that the fibers are finer than the silk fibers of domesticated silkworms of 13 to 14 microns in diameter and are acuter in the angle of the sections of the fibers. The removal of the dental plaque and dental calculi is improved by utilizing these characteristic properties.
