<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small and highly reliable optical printer head in which productivity can be enhanced. SOLUTION: The optical printer head comprises a light emitting element array chip 4 mounted on the end face of a supporting plate 1 and having a plurality of light emitting elements 5 and terminal electrodes 6 formed on the upper surface thereof, a circuit board 2 mounted on the major surface of the supporting plate 1 substantially orthogonal to the end face and having a plurality of circuit lines 3 being connected electrically with the terminal electrodes 6 wherein the circuit board 2, the light emitting element array chip 4 and the supporting plate 1 are contained in a housing 8 holding a lens array 7 above the light emitting element array chip 4. A conductor layer 9 being pressed against both the terminal electrode 6 and the circuit line 3 and connecting them electrically is applied to the inner surface of the housing 8.</p> |
