PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an attachment for a vacuum cleaner which is usable by generating intake air or exhaustion from an electric blower from the tip of the attachment depending on a cleaning place. SOLUTION: The attachment 1 for the vacuum cleaner has an opening 4 at its one end and is provided with an intake air path 5 being the channel of the intake air and an exhaustion path 6 being the channel of exhaustion air respectively. By making it possible to switch the communication between both of the paths (5 and 6) and the opening 4, the intake air or exhaustion is generated from the opening 4.
