PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooking device which can prevent burns, allows easy cleanings of food particles, and has an excellent storage efficiency. SOLUTION: An resinous guarding member 12, equipped along the outer periphery of a cooking plate 5 on a body case 2, and the guarding member 12, held by the body case 2 in a manner that the guarding member 12 can turn, prevent burns caused by hand touching to the cooking plate 5 from sides and allows easy cleanings of food particles fallen between the cooking plate 5 and the guarding member 12. As the guarding member 12 rotates with the accessories such as the cooking plate 5, 5' and a lid body 15 placed on the body case 2 in a manner that the guarding member 12 makes contact with the upper surface of the lid body 15, the accessories can be fixed integrally. As a result, the storage efficiency increases.
