PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mold for molding a honeycomb structure, capable of molding a thin honeycomb structure without lowering moldability. SOLUTION: The mold 8 for molding the honeycomb structure comprises at least a supply hole 81 for supplying a material and slit grooves 82 which communicates with the hole 81 to mold the material in a honeycomb shape. In this mold 8, the width of the groove 82 is 100μm or less. A pair of opposed side faces 82 of the groove 82 each has a recess 41 and a protrusion 42 extended along the extruding direction of the material.
