PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photosensitive and heat-sensitive recording material which has a high light resistance and which can particularly improve the stabil ity of the whiteness of a non-image part. SOLUTION: The photosensitive and heat-sensitive recording material comprises recording layers on a support in such a manner that at least one of the recording layer contains a color developing component A included in a heat response microcapsule, at least one type of substantially colorless compound B existing at the exterior of the microcapsule and having a site for color developing in reaction with the component A and at least one type of hindered amine light stabilizer. The light resistance can be improved by incorporating the hindered amine light stabilizer.
