PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a throw-away diaper which enables a wearing person to largely open a pocket, to house feces therein and to prevent the adhesion of the feces to the skin of the wearing person. SOLUTION: This throw-away diaper 1A comprises a first panel P1 which has front and rear girth areas 29 and 31 and a crotch area 30 and a second panel P2 which exists above the first panel P1 and extends from the front girth area 29 to the crotch area 30. Stretchable first elastic members 14 extending in a transverse direction are arranged between the abutment ends 11 and free ends 12 of the second panel P2. Both ends 14a of the first elastic members 14 are connected to side parts 6 and 13 of these panels P1 and P2 in the state of elongating the first elastic members in the transverse direction, by which the free ends 12 of the second panel P2 are crowned upward of the first panel P1 and the pocket P4 opening from the front girth area 29 toward the crotch area 30 is formed between the panels P1 and P2.
