PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide cut cotton which is free of detachment of fibers in use, has high absorptivity (high absorption rate) and water retaining properties and can be easily fabricated at a low cost as a material to take place of absorbent cotton, gauze, etc., used when disinfecting the skin of a wound, etc., by impregnating the material with a disinfecting liquid, etc., or makeup remover of the face or a grease wiper or puff or the like for makeup used in patting by impregnating the material with cosmetics. SOLUTION: This cut cotton consists of a soft polyurethane foam. |
