PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording head cap that can cover a nozzle of a recording head in a condition that the nozzle is surely closed in an ink sucking operation by a recovery mechanism. SOLUTION: An inkjet recorder has the recording head cap 20 for covering the nozzle 6a of the recording head 6. The inkjet recorder comprises a contact section 21 that can be elastically deformed and forms a sealed space covering the nozzle 6a by being brought into contact with a nozzle forming face 6b of the recording head 6 and an abutment section 25 that restricts a deformation amount of the contact section 21 by being brought into contact with the nozzle forming face 6b when the contact section 21 is elastically deformed at a predetermined amount by bringing the contact section 21 into contact with the nozzle forming face 6b. |
