PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-sensitive recording material which has excellent color developability and whiteness of a skin part, which can obtain a bright image of a yellow or red color developing hue and which has a good image light resistance. SOLUTION: The heat-sensitive recording material comprises a heat-sensitive recording layer which contains a diazo compound and a coupler on a support in such a manner that as the diazo compound, at least one type of a compound represented by formula (1) is contained, and as the coupler, at least one type of a compound represented by formula (2) is contained, [wherein R<1> to R<4> and R<6> to R<8> are each H, a halogen, an alkyl group, an aryl group, an alkoxy group, an aryloxy group, an alkylthio group, an arylthio group, an alkylsulfonyl group, an arylsufonyl group, an alkoxy carbonyl group, an aryloxycarbomoyl group, an acyloxy group, an acyl group, a carbamoyl group, a sulfamoyl group, a cyano group, etc., (at least one of R<7> and R<9> is a hydrogen atom), and R<5> is an alkyl group or aryl group]. |
