PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image acceptive sheet for a melt thermal transfer recording which has excellent transferability/adhesive properties of an ink in a high-temperature and high-humidity environment and which has excellent water and scuff resistance. SOLUTION: The image acceptive film for a thermal transfer comprises a coating layer which contains (A) a resin aqueous dispersion using an olefin copolymer (a) coupled with an unsaturated carboxylic acid or its anhydride as a specific surfactant dispersing agent (b) and dispersed in water so that the ratio of a weight per solid content of (a)/(b) is 100/1 to 100/30 and a mean particle size is 5 μm or less, (B) an ethyleneimine additive of a polyimine polymer or a polyaminepolyamide represented by a specific formula (I), wherein R<1> and R<2> are each independently a hydrogen atom, 1-10C linear or branched alkyl group, alkyl group having an alicyclic structure, or aryl group, R<3> is a hydrogen atom or 1-20C alkyl group, alkyl group, alkyl group having an alicyclic structure, aryl group or their hydroxide, m is an integer of 2 to 6, n is an integer of 20 to 3,000, which may be solely or may be complexed by several types, (C) a water soluble specific crosslinker and (D) an antistatic agent, on at least one side surface of a microporous thermoplastic resin stretched film which contains 15 to 70 wt.% of surface treated calsium carbonate and 85 to 30 wt.% of a thermoplastic resin. |
