PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for a food and drink and the oral cavity, as a material with anti-caries function, depressing the generation of caries especially by e.g. re-calcification of the teeth. SOLUTION: This composition for a food and drink and the oral cavity has anti-caries function and comprises phosphorylated oligosaccharide or its sugar alcohol; wherein the phosphorylated oligosaccharide is prepared from potato starch and is a glucan comprising 3-5 glucoses each with an α-1,4 linkage and bound with one phosphate group and/or a glucan comprising 2-8 glucoses each with an α-1,4 linkage and bound with two phosphate groups.
