PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flavor-enhancing raw material capable of imparting stronger flavor than that of a conventional roasted onion to process food, to provide a process food containing the raw material, and to provide a base material for process food for producing the process food. SOLUTION: This flavor-enhancing raw material is obtained by frying an edible vegetable belonging to Allium of Liliaceae except onion followed by grinding the thus fried resultant vegetable. |
