PURPOSE: A method for controlling the air amount of a manual transmission is provided to normally operate a vehicle by supplying air adjusted to a vehicle speed to an engine when a vehicle travels in idling. CONSTITUTION: A method for controlling the air amount of a manual transmission is composed of steps of detecting the connection of a clutch when an engine is driven; detecting the position of a gear when the clutch is connected; detecting a vehicle speed when the position of the gear is one-speed or two-speed; regulating air amount according to the vehicle speed when a vehicle moves; and supplying air in the vehicle traveling and air in the vehicle stopping to the engine.
