PURPOSE: A system and a method for operating a simple IP(Internet Protocol) mobile node in a mobile IP network having true roaming ability without fault are provided to transmit information between a mobile node and a home agent. CONSTITUTION: A mobile node(102) is connected to HAAA(Home Administration, Authorization, and Authentication) servers(116,118). The addresses of the HAAA severs(116,118) are decided. Information, indicating a method for connecting the mobile node(102) to the HAAA servers(116,118) and deciding the address of an home agent(114), is received. A proxy sever(108) determines the address of the home agent(114), by using information received from PDSNs(Packet Data Serving Nodes)(106,112). Then, information is transmitted from the mobile node(102) to the home agent(114) by using the address.
