PURPOSE:To certainly cut the weft yarns of a textile cord and to remove weft yarn pieces after cutting. CONSTITUTION:A weft yarn treatment apparatus is equipped with a pinch roll mechanism 12 being a feed means feeding a textile cord 11 into a calender while applying predetermined tension to the cord in the longitudinal direction thereof, the cutters 13 inserted in the gaps between the warp yarns of the textile cord 11 fed by the pinch roll mechanism 12 to cut the weft yarns of the cord, a comb member 14 being a yarn piece removing means separating the weft yarn pieces cut by the cutters 13 from the warp yarns and a suction mechanism 15. |
