FIELD: manufacture of prosthesis and orthopedics. SUBSTANCE: method involves combining compression force during casting or molding of preliminarily prepared formable and curable insert material and applying extension force in several procedures to limb stump in peripheral direction; subjecting insert material to curing to produce insert, which readily adjoins to limb stump after curing without substantial trimming; forming pressure relieving member, insert covering and coupling of prosthesis by applying compression force simultaneously with insert. Pressure die casting system has chamber under pressure, enclosure for transmitting compressive force, counteracting extension system for generating resulting axial extension on limb stump in insert material during forming and curing of insert, and hydraulic capsule for detecting extension force during forming process. Insert material has preliminarily prepared tubular layer similar to strengthening fibrous web and preliminarily impregnated with uncured resin, which is preliminarily activated with water and is capable of forming and curing. Coupling embedded in resin is adapted for connecting tubular layer to one end of prosthesis. Method allows insert to be made directly on limb stump. EFFECT: increased efficiency and enhanced reliability in operation. 33 cl, 12 dwg
