FIELD: plastic metal working, namely manufacture of expanded ring blanks. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of subjecting initial blanks-washers before heating them to deep overageing; applying heat insulation coating upon them; heating for expanding at (950-1000)C during 1-2 hours. The whole process of deformation of blank-washers is divided by two-three transitions. Overageing, heat insulation and heating for expanding are performed before each transition. Temperature rise before beginning reaging is realized gradually by three stages. At first transition deformation is realized by (20-30)%, at second transition - by (30-40)%, at third transition - by 40% and more. Sizing of expanded blanks and their expanding are realized for overaged blanks. Method provides enhanced quality of ring blanks of high-alloy nickel alloys with quantity of gamma'-phase exceeding 25% due to elimination of blank cracking.
