METHOD FOR MAKING SMALL-SIZE TUBULAR ADAPTORS OF DIFFERENT TYPE METALS

FIELD: processes for making small-size tubular adaptors of different type metals. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of placing in outer blank inner blank in the form of rod on ends of which plugs are arranged; heating blanks until welding temperature and compressing them by means of forced motion of plugs; using outer blank in the form of apertured disc in each aperture of which rod is placed; compressing rods simultaneously at sides of their ends between two pressure plates; before working cutting welded blank by separate portions in such a way that each portion includes one rod. Rods may be spaced by the same distance from disc ends. Each aperture of disc may have technological annular steps with height no more than 0.1 mm. At assembling disc and pressure plates for diffusion welding they are mutually aligned by means of through dowel. EFFECT: enhanced quality of diffusion welded joint. 4 cl, 5 dwg, 1 ex
