摘要 PURPOSE: A method of allocating resources by a destination grouping using an AAL2(ATM Adaptive Layer2) protocol is provided to configure IDs by destination nodes, to transmit the IDs to source nodes while setting an AAL2 call, and to group cells having the same destination IDs in the source nodes, to transmit resources, thereby reducing unnecessary node to increase switch capacity. CONSTITUTION: Cells(1,2,3,4) of an ATM cell(200) are ATM cells corresponding to data bearers of set connections(1,2,3,4). The cells(1,3) are supposed to have destinations outputted to a port 'A'. The cells(2,4) are supposed to have destinations outputted to a port 'B'. A transmission node(210) is given a destination group ID by a connection request, and multiplexes cells only having the destination group ID. The multiplexed cells reach an ATM switch(220). A demultiplexing process is omitted for switching the ATM switch(220).
